Kate Middleton’s Stylist Is Also Prince George’s Godmother!

When it comes to shopping, the only opinion you can trust is your friend’s — are we right? That is certainly the case for the duchess of Cambridge, who has hired her oldest friend to be her new stylist! Emilia Jardine-Paterson, better known to Kate and co. as Emilia de Lankypants, was also revealed as Prince George’s godmother last month, and is the family’s interior decorator at Kensington Palace. Talk about a royal flush!

Jardine-Paterson has been besties with Kate since they were 13 and is said to have introduced her best friend to William at university, when the pair were just 17. From matchmaker to godmother and interior decorator, Emilia’s latest role is a little more unusual — she’s been tasked with getting the duchess out of her beloved beige and into more color and prints. “Emilia loves vintage and tries to get Kate to be a bit more quirky. When they were at school she used to tease Kate about her prim Jigsaw shirts and hated those fur gilets Kate wore,” says a close source to Grazia Daily.
