We're used to (gently) telling the under-12 set to keep their paws off our luxury skin products. But now, we're eating our words: An 11-year-old has gotten ahold of our favorite skin-dulgence — Kiehl's famed Creme de Corps body butter — and we're absolutely smitten with the results.
Kiehl's has partnered with non-profit organization Share Our Strength to donate 100% of proceeds (up to $100,000) from two limited-edition, scented versions of Creme de Corps to the No Kid Hungry Campaign. Sofie Shore, the 11-year-old daughter of Share Our Strength's co-founder, drew the so-cute-it-hurts snowman featured on each lid: "I think it's great that something so fun for me will help feed kids," said Shore. Um, is that not the cutest thing you've ever heard?
So, even though we'd pick up a jar or two just for the sake of charity — and to be greeted by that smiling snowman all winter long — it's worth noting that the product inside is also pretty special. This is the first time Kiehl's smash-hit Creme de Corps body butter has been released with fragrance. Available in grapefruit (at Kiehl's retail stores and online at the Kiehl's site) and coriander (through Kiehl's specialty retailer partners), we think feeding hungry kids nationwide is more than enough reason to stock up on both of 'em this holiday season.
Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter in Grapefruit, $38, available November 15 at Kiehl's; Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter in Coriander, $38, available November 15 at Nordstrom.
