It's our scientifically proven opinion that there's nothing Meryl Streep can't do. The woman is basically a chameleon, whether she's playing a famous chef or the Iron Lady herself. But, her newest role just might be her biggest departure yet. According to a leak reported by Deadline, the Oscar winner is being courted for a female-only version of The Expendables.
The ExpendaBelles, as the flick is currently called, comes from the writers behind 10 Things I Hate About You and Legally Blonde, so it promises plenty of girl-power awesomeness. Producers are reportedly in talks with Milla Jovovich and Cameron Diaz about joining the cast, meaning Streep would be in fine action-star company. We're not sure how she feels about getting into a skintight leather getup and fighting crime, but we know we wouldn't miss watching her do so for anything.
