Rihanna Covers Up In Abu Dhabi, Yet Controversy Still Follows

Rihanna makes no apologies for her style, nor should she. Her racy looks are never put together without consideration. But, this time controversy is brewing over a different type of outfit — one with nary a flash of skin in sight.
While stopping in Abu Dhabi for her Diamonds World Tour, Rihanna held an impromptu photo shoot at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Wearing a black bodysuit and hijab, the singer posed and gave some face to her Insta-assistant, @gomillionandleupold. Despite efforts to respect the religious culture of the United Arab Emirates, there is sill an uproar over her outfit. The Independent reports that some view her photo shoot as "disrespectful." The highly glamorous style with scarlet lips and red talon finger nails could be read as impertinent — that her use of the hijab is for fashion as opposed to respect for the mosque. She even captioned one photo with two women passing behind her, saying, "B*tch stole my look."
However, the jury's out. Even if the outfit isn't crossing any boundaries, and despite how gorgeous she looks, it might not have been the best choice to seductively pose on mosque property, treating it like a Vogue shoot. (The Independent)
