Uh oh, looks like someone has it out for Citi Bike. Five months after the bike-share program launched its blue army across NYC, The Plaza has a bone to pick with the public transit project. The hotel filed a lawsuit against the city and Citibank arguing that the bike rack in front of its building is an "eyesore" and that it "came at the expense of a full lane of traffic," the Post reports.
Steven Sladkus, the iconic hotel's lawyer, asked that the bike rack be stripped down immediately, as it violates the city's own laws and attracts litter pile-up at the hotel's entrance. Has The Plaza gone too far? We wonder what Eloise would think. (NY Post)
