Maybe you've noticed: We fully believe in the seasonality of hair color. While naturally-colored locks are great, we tend to be suckers for hair that lightens in the summer "sun" (read: colorist's chair) and darkens with the changing of the leaves. Carey Mulligan appears to be on team Seasonal Hair, too, with a new brunette 'do that's just about the loveliest golden brown we've seen this fall. It helps that it's close to her natural hair color; it matches her brows and her warm brown eyes for a look that's as effortlessly pretty as it is super glam, like maybe she left a cozy cabin in the woods to attend this event and barely changed her makeup. It's working.
Most of all, though, this look has us itching to dye our own hair a similar color — the ultimate sign of a successful hair change. Also, can we have that dress? Please?
