Love seeing snaps of Suri, Kingston, and the Jolie-Pitts? You might have a case of Hollywood-tyke withdrawal soon. Thanks to a new bill that Governor Jerry Brown just signed yesterday, paparazzi who harass celebrity children when photographing or videotaping them will now be slapped with a misdemeanor.

The Los Angeles Times
reported that Jennifer Garner and Halle Berry both testified in support of the bill, saying that they are harassed when they're out with their kids in public. Effective on January 1, 2014 the law also includes heftier penalties for harassment: up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $10,000.

Hopefully, paparazzi will take this measure seriously and nix their often dangerous, anything-to-get-a-photo approach. Kids should be allowed to be kids and even famous youngsters deserve their privacy. So, lighten up, paparazzi! We can all live with fewer Shiloh updates. (L.A. Times)
