Chrissy Teigen’s Wedding Dress Is A Fluffy Cupcake Of Joy

Innumerous, awkward '80s wedding photos ruined by excessive fluff and frill have taught us the dangers of going overboard with your big-day ensemble. Call us crazy, but we'll take a pared-down, minimalist, possibly vintage gown any day. But, there is always an exception. And, today, that exception is Chrissy Teigen. The Sports Illustrated model and professional nude photographer showed off her dress shortly before getting hitched to fiancé John Legend this past weekend. This goes without saying, but she looked gorgeous. The proof is in the picture:
The photo was snapped by friend and attendee Nicole Fasolino, catching Teigen in a moment of calm before what was, we can only assume, a thoroughly awesome wedding. The dress was one of three Vera Wang gowns that Teigen donned over the course of the wedding (a thought we, too, have been stumped by, with respect to our own lives). Though, to be fair, the words "Vera Wang gowns" and "wedding" are usually replaced with "old sweatpants" and "Sunday afternoon," respectively. E! Online reports that the ceremony took place on Italy's Lake Como, otherwise known as one of the most spectacular spots on Earth.
Congrats to the happy couple — and bonus points to Teigen for making extreme fluffiness in a wedding situation look like a very, very good thing.
