It seems as though a new restaurant opens up every week in Chicago, and that's just fine by us. We spent our summer alfresco dining at a picnic table over at Parson's Chicken and Fish, and there isn't a dish at Fat Rice that hasn't curled our toes with pleasure. But we're not here to talk about casual eateries with affordable prices — or new ones, for that matter. The top 10 fine-dining restaurants in Chicago for the month of September were just announced by bestofluxury.com, and guess what? They're as evergreen as they come.

You may want to bookmark this puppy because these tried-and-true favorites have managed to maintain their ranking for several months, so there's definitely something to be said for consistency. And let's face it — the house-made pasta at Spiaggia never gets old.
