See Taylor Swift's One Direction Diss In All Its Glory

By now we're — collectively — more than well-versed in all of Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends. In fact, we've probably learned enough about her past relationships that we could teach a college seminar on the topic. No matter your opinion on T. Swift, her songs, or her courtships, there's no denying that the whole ordeal is fascinating. Listening to her lyrics is just as good as watching a soap opera.

And, of course, the soap opera continued tonight at the Barclays Center. As One Direction took the VMA stage, the camera naturally panned straight to Harry Styles' ex for her reaction. The drama gods shined down on us, and gave her what might be the sassiest reaction ever — so sassy, in fact, that we can't even print what she said. Luckily, thanks to the Internet (and Twitter star Rich Juzwiak), we have it in all its GIF glory below. We're giving the honorable reaction mention to Selena Gomez for her "Not again, Taylor" eye roll. She is staying out of it, you guys, and we don't blame her.

It didn't stop there, though. Later in the show, ol' Swifty accepted her Moonman for Best Female Video for "I Knew You Were Trouble," and she gave quite the shoutout. She ended her speech by thanking "the person who inspired this song, because now I have one of these," as the camera immediately cut to Styles in the audience. Ouch.
