Alexander Wang Didn’t Actually Design This Alexander Wang Gym Bag

You trust your friends to do a lot of things for you (have your back, show up to happy hour on time, break their diets so you can both indulge in a box of doughnuts…), but when your BFFs include such talented people like Simon Doonan, Sally Singer, Craig McDean, and Heather Hughes, you can trust them to help you design for your own brand as well.
Tapped by Samsung, Alexander Wang's latest version of his Wallie gym sack was crowd-sourced by his nearest and dearest by using the Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone to take photos, sketch doodles, and create images. The amalgam of all the submissions is the gray-and-black print that covers the $550 lambskin bag, proceeds from which will go to Art Start, which brings opportunities to create art to at-risk youth. Find the bag later this month online and in key stores. (WWD)
