What exactly is an Altuzarra woman? If the new collection is any indication, she's a no-nonsense minimalist who gets things done, and looks good doing it. And to drive this point home, the label joined forces with e-commerce giant Mytheresa to create a film portraying just that attitude.
The tone of the film is inspired by the strict, strong, and severe lines of the brand's fall/winter '13 collection. Filmed by Simon Cave, model Agne Konciute wears the structured silhouettes and contrasting textures that are at the heart of the collection (think fur, leather, and silk crepe). Joseph Altuzarra says of the film, "In working with the creative team at Mytheresa.com, as well as developing the concept with Simon, we created something that really was about the collection and spoke to who the Altuzarra woman was — in a minimalist yet high-impact setting."
