Normally, we have to wait for the holiday season to soak up the eye-catching array of retailers' ultimate window displays. This year, however, Bergdorf Goodman is starting the party early. Beginning August 30, the store will showcase a special display for Fashion Week.
Featuring the illustrations of Tony Viramontes, the windows will channel all things '80s — Viramontes' specialty. It will also coincide with the launch of a new monograph entitled Bold, Beautiful and Damned by Dean Rhys Morgan. The book details the lost illustrations of Viramontes and features a foreword by Jean Paul Gaultier, as well as an afterword by Amy Fine Collins. Lucky for you, Bergdorf Goodman is just a short stroll away from all those tents at Lincoln Center.
