Will The Nomadic NYFW Move Once More?

Memories, light the corners of our minds. Misty watercolor memories... of Fashion Week at Bryant Park. Yes, those glory days are long gone, catalogued in our style histories along with "platform clogs" and "tattoo necklaces." But, will the Lincoln Center days soon fade into the distant past, too?
On the rumor mill today: news that the nomadic NYFW will move yet again. According to WWD and Stylelist, "It's likely that it will be moved to the Culture Shed at Hudson Yards." The $300-million project is currently in development and is expected to house studios, space for exhibitions, four runways, and indoor/outdoor space. Says Diane von Furstenberg (who we obviously always trust for anything NYFW related), "It will be a huge cultural center, and yes, a wonderful place for fashion week." Well, DVF, we were thinking it'd be more convenient for us if it moved down to our hood, in the Financial District… Here's hoping. (Stylelist)
