Okay, so the collaboration between Jay Z and Barneys may still be a rumor, but the newly renovated, totally amazing Upper West Side Barneys is a hard fact. Formerly Barneys Co-op, the Broadway location has been re-launched as Barneys New York, it's slightly less edgy sister brand. The UWS location now channels the aesthetic and of the department store's Madison Avenue flagship — we're talking warmer lighting, terrazzo tile floors, and a clean, modern look that lets the products really shine.
On top of its new look, the Broadway location will also be offering additional brands, like Alaïa, Proenza Schouler, Chloé, and Stella McCartney, marking the official demise of our savings account. The Grove location in L.A. will undergo a similar transformation at the beginning of August, followed by Brooklyn in November. We're psyched to see our New York staple looking fresh to death. Click through for a sneak peek at the redesigned store, or go check it out for yourself. If you need us, we'll be in the shoe section.
