Life Just Became A Beach — In London

Beach
Ahh, the British seaside, there's nothing quite like it. Whether it was fish and chips on the pier, an ice water dip, or erecting a token sandcastle, Blighty beach breaks are bound to feature in your memory bank — somewhere near Pokémon cards and Gobstoppers, right? Get ready to revive those memories, as London is about to welcome a free pop-up beach!
Bringing 150 tonnes of sand to the capital, Camden Beach pops up at the Roundhouse on July 27, and will run right through to August 24. Along with fish ‘n’ chips and mussels from pop-up resto, Fishy Business, truly escape to the “seaside” with boules, badminton, parasols, and ice cream. Plus, there’ll be seaside-pier arcade games, live music on Fridays, and Jimmy’s Margarita Shack serving up exotic cocktails. So, who cares if you can’t get time off from the office, just step outside and hit the sand.

When: July 27 through to August 24, noon to 11 p.m.

Where: Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road London, NW1 8EH; 0844 482 8008.
