If you’re sweating just thinking about going outside for lunch today, we get it — and apparently, so does Uber. The car service app is providing D.C. users, as well as users from select cities all over the world, with a one-day-only summer treat today. The company has hired dozens of ice cream trucks to deliver cold treats on demand between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Translation? Sweet, sweet relief for anyone who's feeling 100% done with summer right about now. The service requires a minimum of five ice cream purchases per stop (for a total of $25). It’s up to you, of course, whether you share those treats with your coworkers or hoard them for yourself. (Hey, it's hot — we're not judging.)
