Most people know Lindsey Wixson for her gorgeous, pillowy lips, and you can hardly blame 'em. But now, she might get another boost of fame for her haircut. The ubiquitous model who helped solidify the return of the gap tooth debuted bangs and a shorter cut on Terry Richardson's Diary (in one of the few non-nude photoshoots he posts on his site, if you can believe it).
This definitely has a retro vibe. In fact, there's almost a Joan Jett feel to it — although the honey blonde certainly takes the edge off. The shape is really interesting, there's a lot of volume on top, but still a well-textured shag on the bottom, and the sweep of those bangs will have us swooning for days. We generally abide by the rule that if a model gets a major haircut, you know she's made it big — big enough that her name recognition has surpassed her physical beauty. Take Karlie Kloss, for example. Most up-and-coming models wouldn't dare cut their hair short, as casting directors tend to prefer more versatile styles that can be easily turned into something elaborate (when it's not covered up under a wig). But in this case, Lindsey (like Ms. Kloss) is clearly working it!
