You're about to feel a whole lot better about how long it's been since you performed a thorough closet clear-out. But, thanks to the epic contents of this upcoming sale, you're also going to be much more motivated to make some room in your wardrobe. Front-row regular and industry superstar Suzy Menkes is auctioning off the contents of her closet — a collection she hasn't culled since 1964.
Christie's will be hosting the auction of the famed journalist's items, and you can expect to see pieces from Ossie Clark, Emilio Pucci, YSL, and Christian Lacroix. As Menkes explains,
"They need to live again, and this auction provides the opportunity for them to walk out in the sunshine, to dance the night away and to give someone else the joy that they gave to me." We're certainly here to help, Suzy.

The items on sale are estimated to start at £200 ($300). But, if you donate, like, 10 blouses from your current wardrobe, surely that justifies purchasing a hard-to-come-by designer piece, no? (Yahoo)
