Well, Liam Hemsworth has finally fled the Miley-bird nest. After weeks of speculation, a rumored romance with January Jones, and Miley's odd (but not-unexpected) twerking videos, the affianced couple has called it quits.

reports that Liam's brothers, Chris and Luke, staged an intervention, where they presumably asked questions like, "WTF is going on here, bro?" The New York Post reports that an insider confirms, "they are definitely over." Sigh. Young love.
The couple's four-year relationship culminated in a 3.5 karat Neil Lane engagement ring, and we're guessing that Miley will continue to style it into some of her more punk getups, post-breakup. May we suggest making it into a liberty spike hair accessory? (New York Post)
