Must Read: The Girl-Power Site That Has Us Hooked

everyg
Between reading, writing, Tweeting, Redditing, and killing time on Pinterest, we like to think we know our way around the net. But this past weekend a site unseen caught our eye for the first time — The Everygirl. And just like that, we were hooked.
Everygirl, run and founded by Chicago dwellers Alaina Kaczmarski and Danielle Moss, is a great place to go for, well, everything. From your regular hard news roundup to happy-go-lucky Instagram snaps. There's something for every type, plus lots of stories from real women (think xoJane with a little less snark). Considering we love a good confessional, the "I'm An Everygirl" feature is probably our favorite part of the site (which, quite frankly, reminds us a bit of yours truly). They've also got job postings, shopping roundups, and some pretty delicious recipes to boot. What we really love about this site is that — much like R29, we like to think — it underscores the fact that an interest in aesthetics, beauty, and fashion doesn't exclude an interest in the rest of the whole, wide world. So, what are you waiting for? Get reading!
