Watch What Happens When Normal People Follow Gwyneth Paltrow’s Diet

There's always a rash of new diets when short-shorts season rolls around, but Gwyneth Paltrow's version is certainly not for the faint of heart. And after one writer at The Cut tried the hardcore regime herself, she learned that Gwyneth is super-human — the hard way.
Turns out, after 10 days of successful Paltrow dieting, as in to-the-tee, by-the-book dieting, Rebecca Harrington broke. Betraying the rules of her diet, she indulged in bread, dairy, eggs, the works. Except the morning after her indulgence, Harrington woke up with a big ole rash on her face. Eventually, the rash went away (whew!), but incited all kinds of concerns about the consequences of what's really in her everyday food. You know, plebes-only food, not the super food GP eats.
