Zach Galifianakis' Newest "Between Two Ferns" Hilariously Skewers James Franco

"Between Two Ferns," Zach Galifianakis' interview-based "talk show," is one of the warmest, weirdest corners of the Internet. It isn't news to mention that it is hilarious, awkward, and endlessly rewatchable. (To prove this theory, remember his Jessica Chastain Zero Dark Thirty episode? Many, many LOLs.) His newest video talks to James Franco, and includes a few good gems: "127 Hours. Is that how many hours you look in the mirror every day?" "Of all the art projects you have done, what has made people roll their eyes the hardest?" (Spoiler: Franco doesn't answer.)

But then, the interview turns into the newest Lonely Island video, which addresses the spring break culture and hype surrounding Franco's Spring Breakers. Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone confront the totally sexist, sensationalist American "rite of passage," and then invite Franco, Galifianakis, and one very special Ed Norton to contrast the beer and bras with a lovely, meaningful gay wedding. ("Pranks when you're passed out, jokes about roofies, making girls kiss...marry a man.") The kids in this vid are acting irresponsible and horrible, while the "gays" (an epithet in spring break culture) are mature and creating lasting connections.
