Can you remember your last tea party? Chances are, unless you're a lady of leisure or an Anglomaniac, you haven't enjoyed a proper pot since your days serving that teddy bear an imaginary cup of Earl Grey. Well, when we stumbled upon Julia Stephens' first foray into fashion flicks, we found ourselves dusting off our finest china.
Though Stephens is a natural in front of the lens (see her in the upcoming Lovelace biopic) she jumped behind the camera to create Soulmates, a short film about a mysterious note that finds its way into the hands of one chic commuter. Said heroine wanders around a forest, paper in hand, until a Pomeranian (really!) alerts her to her destination. As you'd expect from a vid featuring SoCal wares, stylish shenanigans ensue, like bubble-blowing, macaroon-noshing, and even some badminton-playing. We've got to say, this soirée is totally our cuppa tea!
