Let’s put it this way, S.F.’s Academy of Art University doesn't mess around when it comes to its graduation fashion show and awards ceremony. Last year, this star-studded event boasted a lineup of heavy-hitters, with Sarah Burton, Philip Treacy, Suzy Menkes, and Cathy Horyn all in attendance — pinch us!

This year will be no different — the designs are sure to dazzle, the speakers are...wait, stop traffic — the Max and Lubov Azria of the BCBGMAXAZRIA will be there to receive honorary doctorate degrees! Yes, this may just put all of our graduation ceremonies to shame.

Luckily, the kind people over at Academy of Art have extended the invite to all fashion-minded San Franciscans, so you can high-tail it over to Palace of Fine Arts Theatre for an evening of design ogling. We haven’t been this giddy for a graduation in a long time, and this Azria-centric one just upped the ante — big time.
