Finally, A Reason To Wear PJs Out: An All-Night-Long Art Party

wpaslide
Remember the old-school slumber party days, complete with prank calls and marathon games of Mall Madness and DreamPhone? Now, imagine if you could have the grown-up equivalent of that experience, where you stay up all night to do something a little bit more cultured. Enter: Washington Project for the Arts' Sleepout, aka the most epic sleepover, ever.
A $35 ticket gets you two drinks and entrance to the event, which involves DJs, loads of performance art projects, karaoke, and the chance to mingle with other pajama-clad night owls. The celebration goes down poolside at WPA’s new headquarters, the Capitol Skyline Hotel. If you want to really maximize the experience, bring a tent or sleeping bag and snooze under the night sky. Need more convincing? Think of it like this: When will you have another chance to dabble in the sleepwear-as-outerwear trend?
When: Saturday, April 20, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Where: Capitol Skyline Hotel, 10 I Street SW; 202-234-7103.
