We know we said you don't have to rent Pitch Perfect to see Anna Kendrick's delightful audition scene, but we're going to retract that statement and say you should probably go rent it — maybe even buy it, because a sequel to the hilarious 2012 break-out film is coming in 2015, and you need to prepare, now. Adam Fogelson of Universal Pictures announced today at CinemaCon that Kay Cannon is working on the script for Pitch Perfect 2. The first film boasted the best-selling soundtrack of last year, and scored a solid three Billboard singles.
You better acca-believe it when we say we'll be first in line opening night, if just to see Rebel Wilson reprise her role — she can pitch slap us any day. (Deadline)
