Unleash Your Inner Parisian At Georgetown’s Annual French Market

gtownslide
Listen up, style mavens, foodies, and design buffs — this weekend, you can embrace your inner Francophile while indulging in all your favorite passions. The 10th annual French Market pops up in Georgetown on Friday and Saturday, which means you can satisfy all your shopping and snacking needs for much less than a plane ticket to Paris. More than 40 neighborhood merchants will join in the open-air shopping extravaganza, and you can expect music, entertainment, live art demos, and plenty of swoony couples hoping for that Midnight in Paris experience. Keep an eye out for goods from Nectar Skin Bar, TARI, Sassanova, and Duo boutiques, and expect discounts of up to 80 percent off during the sidewalk sales. Oh — and the French braid bar at IPSA salon sounds pretty sweet, too. How can you not say "oui, oui!" to all that?
When: Friday, April 19, through Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Participating stores along upper Wisconsin Avenue NW, in Georgetown's Book Hill neighborhood. See a complete list here.
