The illustrious Cat Marnell, former XOJane editor and proud public drug user, is reportedly extending her 15 minutes of fame with a book deal. Rumors surfaced this weekend that the confesional writer is working on a little big something with Simon & Schuster to the tune of $500,000, though representatives won't confirm that number.
The book is reportedly entitled How To Murder Your Life and will presumably explain how you can follow your dreams of quitting your job to "smoke angel dust" on top of The Standard hotel. And while half a million doesn't sound bad, we do worry that it will just barely cover the lawsuit when Amanda Bynes sues for usage of her presumably now-trademarked phrase. (Styleite)
