Congratulations to Stella McCartney, who received her OBE from the Queen yesterday. In footage of the momentous event, the designer looked tearful, in a sharp navy two-piece suit (her own label, of course). And we felt a little emotional alongside her.
After all, this is the culmination of long string of successes for the designer, whose Olympic uniform for the GB team cemented her status as British fashion legend. All that on top of her impressive campaign to produce cruelty-free wares — and make them feel chicly on trend like no other. Oh, plus she makes pretty cute Easter decorations, too.
