Just when we thought a shopping excursion to Friendship Heights couldn't get any sweeter (Nordstrom Rack, Loehmann's, Bloomie's, Neiman's...the list goes on), DSW has picked the 'hood to host a pop-up shop for Luxe810, a new branch of the site devoted to luxury footwear. (And, considering there are only five such pop-ups happening across the country, this is a pretty major coup for the District.)
Now through the end of the month, head to Mazza Gallerie to get a firsthand look at what Luxe810 is all about — primarily, super-discounted luxury goods. Think: shoes and bags from Prada, Bottega Veneta, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Marc by Marc Jacobs at discounts of 80% off. If that doesn't warrant an extended lunch break and a Red Line Metro trek, you might want to re-examine your priorities.
