Wow, we thought we had a good year in 2012. Figures announced by singer Adele’s company Melted Stone Ltd states that last year the U.K. songstress earned a massive skyfall windfall of £14.9 million. This works out at £41,000 a day. Yes you read that right. On par with what a lot of people make in a year. Every. Single. Day.
We can’t get too green eyed about her success, though. This lady worked hard for it. She sold over 25 million copies of her second album, 21, as well as writing the hit theme tune to the James Bond blockbuster, and gave birth to baby Angelo in October. And judging by her down-to-earth acceptance speech at the Golden Globes last month, she’s not letting this incredible fortune change her. She’s still the same girl from Tottenham that she always was.
