Makin’ It Big-Time: Girls‘ Allison Williams Books A Beauty Deal

Talk about a "pretty person job." Marnie Michaels, a.k.a. Allison Williams, just booked her first major sponsorship deal with skin-care line Simple, and we have to agree she's perfect for the part. Despite all the stress of her job — on the show and in real life — she manages to look healthy, clean, and fresh, pretty much always (seriously, the last time we saw her in person, we kinda thought she was coming from a Ralph Lauren ad shoot — she wasn't).
It's an uphill battle, though, the star told People. Williams says she has very sensitive skin, and that too many products are a recipe for the oh-so-fun cocktail of breakouts, redness, and inflammation. That's a road many of us have definitely been down, and she seems to recognize that, saying it's "rare" to have skin that's not problematic.

If these products work for someone who gets doused in makeup day after day on set, then we might just give 'em a try. But either way, this is clearly proof that Girls is officially a commercial success, not just the buzzed-about show of the moment. What else is new? (People)
