Hooray! Woody Allen’s S.F.-Centric Movie Finally Has A Title

You may have noticed, but we (along with the rest of the city) are pretty amped about a little flick starring our hilly hood. The filming hype may have subsided, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about Woody Allen’s S.F.-centric movie, produced by Sony Pictures Classics. In case you need a refresh, here’s everything you need to know about it...well, minus the name. But, thank your lucky stars, guys, the film now actually has a title, so you can stop guessing.
Drumroll…Blue Jasmine is the official name of the much-antcipated movie! According to SFist, Jasmine is the name of the protagonist, played by Cate Blanchett, who is going through a bit of a rough patch and moves to S.F. to shake it off. There you go, folks, what are your thoughts on the selected title? Is it everything you've hoped for? Will there be a spike in S.F. babies named Jasmine? Weigh in below. Now hopefully a release date will roll in next.
