Everyone knows getting bangs is just about the most exciting, wonderful, newsworthy thing a celebrity can do. In fact, we have a special computer set up in our office with a Google news alert for the word "bangs" and every time it goes off, a giant siren starts blaring, and confetti falls from the ceiling. Red alert. Red alert. Presidential bangs.

Our very own FLOTUS is the latest entry in the celebrity bangs book. Like we always say — new term, new hairstyle, right? MObama will be center stage with the president this weekend for his inauguration, so we can hardly blame her for making a trip to the salon (or, more likely, having the salon make a trip to her). Plus, it's her birthday, so this is an extra-special, super-important presidential haircut. That's a technical term.
