Shhh — in the distance, you can hear it. The hearts of thousands of Hunger Games fans beating a little faster. The collective Katniss-addicted masses drumming their fingers impatiently. Catching Fire is approaching, guys. The second installment of the Hunger Games trilogy is beginning to take shape — real, live shape — with more than just on-set images emerging. Behold, the first picture of Katniss (and her pal Finnick Odair) in their uniforms for the sequel to the first movie.
Spoiler alert: Though Katniss (and fellow tribute Peeta) beat out their Hunger Games competition, the two find themselves back in the arena due to some not-so-kosher political machinations. This time, though, the duo have a couple allies, including a trident-wielding Odair.
So, check out how fierce (both meanings of the word) Katniss looks, and head over to Entertainment Weekly (or Like them on FB for a special fan-gated image) for the first glimpse of Catching Fire. And then tremble, for hours, in delight. (Entertainment Weekly)
