AnnaSophia Robb certainly has big shoes to fill (Manolos, to be exact), so when she stepped out for the New York Television Festival premiere of
The Carrie Diaries
yesterday evening, we watched with baited breath for a glimmer of our beloved Carrie Bradshaw. Robb donned a black-and-gold peplum number from Emilio Pucci's pre-fall '12 collection (topped off with Miriam Haskell earrings and a DVF clutch), perhaps in an attempt to recall that infamous '80s flashback scene from Sex and the City 2.
While we're digging her look — and the fashion adventurousness it takes to pull it off — we know that SATC fans are pretty, well, demanding. It takes a lot to embody that perfect Carrie demeanor, and the R29 jury is still out on whether Robb has stepped up to the sartorial plate.
