Selena Gomez Can't Stop Wearing This French Brand

Unbeknownst to us, Selena Gomez has a new favorite French brand: Rouje.
While she hasn’t spoken on the record about her adoration of the label’s breezy, vintage-inspired dresses, she’s certainly a fan judging by how often she's been wearing their dresses this fall.
Gomez was spotted sporting a few pieces from the Paris-based fashion label in September. As noted by AOL, she took in a Broadway show or two recently where she appeared, ever so effortlessly, in the Gabin dress in Bordeaux.
This specific style features a classic, vintage-like midi cut, button detail at the waist and a charming polka dot print. She also wore the same dress in a darker color. Because if you find a piece you love, why the heck not stock up with a few versions?

The Gabin wasn’t Gomez’s only favorite, she also wore a shorter style, the Matis, in a light shade of blue, dotted with an allover cloud print. Each dress is in the under $200 range. However don’t get your hopes up, unsurprisingly, all three are sold out. Désolé.

Sure Gomez hasn’t swapped her signature sleek style completely for the brand’s insouciant-seeming POV, it's refreshing to see her interpretation (be it paired with Louis Vuitton “Frontrow” Leather Sneakers or simple heels).
While a number of French brands include unbelievable price tags, Rouje’s low cost and relaxed approach to style have already garnered a following. In an interview with Refinery29, founder Jeanne Damas opened up about the inspiration behind her label and her collection earlier this year.
"While the brand is a tribute to the influential women in my life, this season I was inspired by Italian women in the '60s," Damas says. "My favorite styles are the wrap dresses like the Bordeaux and Rafael dresses and the Saskia espadrilles. Espadrilles are the only shoes I wear during the four months of summer — night and day. I’m not complicated."
