Summer's simmering down, but London is burning up. The British city scored its second consecutive title as fashion capital of the world this year, and New Yorkers and Los Angelenos all over the world are desperately trying to pretend they're not mad.
Media analysts at Global Language Monitor conducted their annual multimedia survey to find out which city had the most attention in fashion (as vague as that sounds). So, why London? President of GLM Paul Payack cited Kate Middleton’s obvious involvement in the win: “Kate Middleton has proved to be incredibly impactful of the British fashion brand.”
We probably could have guessed just as much. Though New York placed second on the list this year, we think London is well deserving of its fashion moment. Congratulations! (Fashion Telegraph)
