Rihanna Chopped Off All Her Hair, Right Before The VMAs

There's no doubt that Rihanna has had a lot of different looks — red with dramatic, Conor-Oberst-esque bangs, long and blonde, long and brown, long and red, short and wavy...you get the picture. But this is one we've never seen before: all gone.

Yep, RiRi chopped it all off and now proudly sports a chic pixie. People say you should cut your hair a week or two before a big event so it has time to grow out, but Rihanna threw caution to the wind and debuted the new look just mere hours before her big performance at the VMAs tonight. So, what does this mean? Is she gonna be a totally different person on stage? Maybe it's just a wig and mid-ballad, she'll pull it off and shake out a long mane with fresh extensions?
