We've always been big fans of Kate Beckinsale, both for her kick-ass, girl power acting (uh, Underworld 1 through 23589) and her bombshell beauty. If we had to be adopted by a celebrity (don't ask why we've even pictured that scenario), she seems like a pretty safe bet – and we're guessing her daughter Lily agrees, because Mom let her dye her hair purple at the tender age of 13. Let's just say that would not have gone over well in our house. The pair looked absolutely adorable when they stepped out hand-in-hand for Kate B's birthday last night in L.A., and the actress matched her daughter's punky tresses in some rocking leather pants. Major props to both of them for trying some wild trends regardless of age!
