How To Wear Crazy-Cool Tights

If there was a ever a season to throw an extra set of squats or lunges into your workout, this fall/winter would be it. While we generally tend to look at the warmer months for leaning out the old gams, this cold season has given us new inspiration for showing off our legs, thanks to all the bright and boldly printed tights on offer. Fall tights have never been more daring—but beware! It's a fine line between chic and shameful! So, to keep you on the right side of the law, we've cooked up a few easy ideas for pulling off these patterns with serious élan.

1. Boy Meets Girl: Give a boyish outfit a pretty little wink with a pair of feminine printed tights.

2. Double Identity: When you want to go for a really boldly patterned tight in say, leopard or optical prints, keep the rest of your outfit chic and simple.

3. Rich In Love: Deep, richly colored tights look sublime when paired with textured skirts and shorts...try sequins, velvet, or wool.

4. Party Girl: Give your party look a little extra lovin' by partnering a leather bubble skirt or a pretty party dress with some '80s perfect patterned tights or stockings.

5. Knit Wit: Put your new fall sweater-dress to good use by layering over a pair of primary colored tights in cherry, cadet blue, or pumpkin.
