No doubt about it: Our fair city is nothing short of a vintage lover’s dream. Not only do we host an impressive (and at times overwhelming) array of five-star thrift shops bedecked with retro, otherworldly odds and ends, but there’s also been a major uptick in the number of stellar S.F.-based e-shops, making the treasure trove ten-times easier to navigate.
One of those web-worthy shops is the gem of an e-retailer, Mother’s Daughter — spearheaded by the Bongo Jeans-loving (she swears by them!) stylephile Hayden Shiebler. The site’s dreamy aesthetic and bold wares warrant some lengthy browsing (don’t say we didn’t warn you!). So, naturally, we thought it only right to meet this site's vintage maven in person and grill her about her cool-kid job and killer style, which she describes as "very ‘90s middle school." Read on for our fun chat and to see the quirky looks Hayden culled from her closet!
