We don't know anyone who wouldn't want to start a business with their best friends. But, when we really think about it, the fantasy melts away (Cue: cat fights over who's going to refill the coffee filters). So, when BFFs ban together in the workplace, we're intrigued.
Three best friends, Mercedes (the daughter of Joe Fresh Mimran), Seymore, and Claire just launched a new e-commerce site, Young Love, which curates affordable, on-trend clothes from up-and-coming, New York-based designers. Somewhat reminiscent of our beloved Nasty Gal in styling, pricing, and product names, the new e-tailer has items like the Rih-Rih Cropped Camo Tee, which has us Rih-ing for the hills. We're all about buying local — especially on a dime — and while it's not the Brooklyn Flea or Etsy, Young Love definitely makes us feel way better about supporting our community (and our wallets). We're eager to see what these girls do and are already in (young) love.
