What does your role encompass from day-to-day?
"A standard day involves waking up to a buzzing iPhone, not an alarm clock. So I immediately take 20 minutes and catch up on all of the e-mails from Paris and NYC that I received overnight. Then, I shower, down a cup of coffee, and head to the office where the madness ensues right away. Days at BPCM LA are full of stylist pulls, celebrity fittings, and at least a few conference calls and meetings. Things usually wrap up around 6:30 (but not the e-mails – those are 24-7). If I don’t have drinks or a dinner planned with a publicist or a stylist, I head home to make dinner with my man and get in some family time because that’s what it’s really all about."

How long have you had your gig and how did you come by it?
"Collectively, I’ve been working at BPCM for 3-plus years, with a one year break in between. I started at the New York office in 2008 as an intern and, luckily, it just worked! After a couple of years with the company, I took a brief pause from agency life to work in-house at Rebecca Minkoff. My interview process at BPCM was essentially a five-week internship during New York Fashion Week. I really worked my ass off, did my research, showed up on time, and brought my A-game in hopes of proving myself as invaluable. Carrie and Vanessa are incredible women and they ultimately took a chance on a rather poorly dressed — but very ambitious — kid from Nebraska, and offered me a job. Life and love brought me West in 2011, so I contacted Ali Froley, Partner at BPCM LA, and luck was on my side yet again! I was able to rejoin the BPCM family, this time out of the L.A. office, handling VIP Relations for my amazing brands."

What's the biggest perk to your job?
"For me, it’s not about the gift bags or the discounts, mainly because I work with quite a few women’s brands! So, my takeaway every day is taking pride in the hard work that I devote to my clients' brands and seeing them evolve and grow."
