Nobu Hotel (Las Vegas)
What happens when you cross superstar chef Nobu Matsuhisa with architect extraordinaire David Rockwell in Las Vegas? A foodie- and design-lover’s haven called the Nobu Hotel, the first hotel from Robert De Niro and Meir Teper that just opened on February 4. Tucked inside Caesar’s Palace, the zen-like 181 rooms have free-flowing Hitsuzendo paintbrush strokes above the beds, artwork handpicked by chef Nobu himself, and luxe Natura Bisse toiletries. Of course, there is a Nobu restaurant downstairs, but the real buzz is over the room-service Nobu Bento Boxes, ranging from $28 to the $288 “High Roller” box that includes lobster wasabi, wagyu steak, premium rolls, and nigiri. You don’t have to be a high-roller to book a room, though, with rates starting at $269 per night.
