Hotel Jerome (Aspen)
Slope lovers and non-ski bunnies alike will love the newly renovated Hotel Jerome. Many of the original mountain-chic touches, like the Indian rug-patterned tiled floors and the Chippendale chinoiserie bar in the iconic J-Bar are still present, but there are a few notable updates. On the culinary front, there’s the new Living Room, a relaxed après-ski spot for snacks like truffled gravy fries, and Prospect, the American bistro from chef Rob Zack, who serves hearty dishes like his Italian grandfather’s meatballs. Upstairs, the 93 rooms have been revamped with burnished-leather bedframes and writing tables, cashmere curtains, and rustic wall coverings. For a total splurge, try one of the three mountain-inspired spa treatments at the brand-new Auberge Spa.
