Is NYC Fashion Week Moving Again?
First Bryant Park, then Lincoln Center, and now...Hudson Yards? Mayor Bloomberg is pushing our ultimate fave event, New York Fashion Week, to a new home in a $15 billion development project on Manhattan's Far West Side. His goal is to have the entire week spent at the Hudson Yards' Culture Center instead of having us trek all over the city to catch shows, and we're not complaining! That's not all — rumor has it that Nordstrom might open its first Manhattan store there, along with other upscale luxury retailers comprable to the shops at the Time Warner Center. NYFW and mega shopping all in the same building? We don't see anything wrong with that! (Racked)
