Sharp-Dressed Man: A Peek Into Chicago’s Newest Man Cave

There was a time when Chicago had its fair share of men's clubs — even the Berghoff used to have an exclusive bar where gents only could be found enjoying a corned beef sandwich with a few brews. While those days may be long gone (thanks to a little thing called equal rights), the Windy City's latest (and pretty rad) men's store definitely has a classy, old-school vibe that kinda makes us want to hang with the good ol' boys.
Local Chicagoan Ryan Newman recently opened up the gorgeous new Wilfred Newman (named after his great-grandfather) store in River North — and you can find him there every day. The style-savvy entrepreneur started out by making custom suits and shirts for a laundry list of high-profile clients, such as NHL all-star Brian Campbell, Billy Corgan (yes, he dresses up apparently), and CNBC contributor Steven Cortes. Now, regular dudes like your boyfriend, spouse, dad, and bro can get the same celeb-like treatment — including a little nip of whiskey to enjoy while perusing all the well-constructed wares.
While you can definitely get a custom suit or shirt here, there is also a wide array of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories for work and play. So, click through to check it out — and make sure to share this post with the man in your life.
