What I'm Wearing: "A version of this outfit has become a uniform for me this fall/winter. I have on my favorite Acne jeans that I wear constantly, and Cynthia Rowley boots that take about 20 minutes to get on, but are totally worth the effort. The flannel and jewelry are from this fantastic thrift store near my parent's house in Wisconsin where probably half my entire wardrobe is from. I'm also wearing a blazer from Madewell that I picked up on sale, a belt that's stolen from my mom's closet, an amazing olive Pollini bag from Screaming Mimi's, and this superwarm Calvin Klein coat over everything."

My beauty look du jour: "I'm really low-maintenence when it comes to make-up. I usually stick to clean skin, a bright lip and lots and lots of Diorshow mascara. I'm a total lipstick junkie. Everytime I go to the drugstore I seem to come out with one or two more Revlons. For a splurge, I go crazy over Chanel's sheer colors or YSL's classic and ultra glamorous Opium Red."
What's on my iTunes: "I've got kind of an eclectic mix going on lately. Robyn's Body Talk Pt. III, this old-ish Alphabeat track "DJ" that I can never get enough of, Wolf Gang's "Back to Back", a little Talking Heads, and always, always Neil Young, especially his new album Le Noise. Also, Harry Connick, Jr's holiday album, a bit of a guilty pleasure."
What's on my to-do list: "Painting my living room, finding the perfect pair of flat brown boots, finally registering for classes because I'm going back to school in January (eek!), reading the giant stack of National Geographics from the '80s I bought recently at an antique store, and getting home in one piece to see my family for the holidays."
